About Me: Joseph is currently a junior in the prestigious Tottenville Science Institute, run by the beautiful Ms. Penny Tuzio. He is 17 years old and, as it stands right now, the only member of the team with a driver's license. Joseph hopes that by the Fall of 2008, he will have that acceptance notice from Stanford which he has forever sought after. Otherwise, he wants to attend Duke, UC Berkeley, Georgetown, or one of several other big name schools. Joseph believes that joining mock trial is easily the single greatest decision he has ever made. To him, the aura surrounding a courtroom is almost surreal, and the feeling of competing, matching wits with his peers is unparalleled in any other endeavor. Although often called conceited, Joseph believes this is a misrepresentation. He considers himself actually quite modest. He tries to have as good a time possible in whatever he pursues. He won an Outstanding Attorney award at the inaugural Empire City Invitational, as well as played a witness. During the 2008 season, he was a middle attorney on the defense as well as Detective Grimm for the plaintiff—substantively the worst witness the NYSBA has ever created. In the future, he hopes the team can take home the coveted 2008 Empire Invitational title as well as defend its City Championship.
